SHIPE CARRIES OUT "5S" SITE MANAGEMENT

PHASE REPORT (Ⅲ)


At 8:00 a.m. on May 26, 2022, the Beijing Conference Hall on the 3rd floor of SHIPE R&D building was quite lively. Here we ceremoniously held our "5S" launch conference . This activity was planned by the 5S promotion Committee of the company, presided over by by Administration-Supervising Officer, and attended by all the staff of SHIPE and Mr. He from VMTA.


The "5S" launch conference consists of seven stages:


Step 1: General manager's speech. As SHIPE`s general manager, Mr. Chen was unable to attend the launching conference due to his official appointment, so he entrusted the host to read the general manager's speech on his behalf. In his speech, Mr.Chen summarized the experience and lessons of "5S"management and implementation of SHIPE over the past ten years, and expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr.He and his ardent expectation to all the staff of SHIPE. Mr.Chen proposed that "through the communication with Mr.He, I have a deeper understanding of" 5S ". The implementation of "5S" is not only of great help to the improvement of Corporate Image, the formation of good habits of employees, the improvement of production safety and efficiency, but also of a key role in the transformation of corporate structure and cooperation with valued customers on major projects." "5S" is the most basic work of enterprise management. Every employee of SHIPE, no matter senior, middle managers or ordinary employees, should understand the spirit of "5S".  Therefore, "5S" requires the participation of everyone, and I will actively participate in it, whether it is hardware and software input, or personnel training, I'm all for it!"  With Mr.Chen`s encouragement,all the SHIPE's staff were inspired and motivated.


Step 2: Director-General's speech. The person in charge of the SHIPE's management team made a speech as the representative of the secretary Bureau of "5S" implementation Committee. Starting from the case of daily "5S" promotion, the Director-General affirmed the initial improvement effect of all aspects in the early stage, and put forward the hopes and requirements for the continuous implementation of subsequent "5S" work on each SHIPE employee.


Step 3: Employee representative speech. Members of the director bureau and the workshop team leader took the stage to make a speech. The two squad leaders respectively introduced the most basic cases around them and expressed their full understanding and support for the SHIPE's implementation of "5S".


Step 4: Speech of Mr. He, the business manager of VMTA. Through the first round of on-site guidance and homework delivery, Mr. He fully affirmed the "5S" promotion work of SHIPE members, and also put forward higher requirements. Through Mr.He's simple explanation, let the members of the whole SHIPE more clearly understand the logical thinking of "5S" management.


Step 5: The Director-General announced each member of the recommendation committee and issued the letter of appointment.


Step 6: Award ceremony of excellent slogan provider in "5S" slogan solicitation activity and oath reading by all staff. On behalf of the promotion committee, the director general gave awards to the excellent slogan provider and led all members to read the oath.


After all members read the oath, the conference entered the last step: sign on the signature wall. All members of SHIPE signed their names one after another, expressing that they would fully implement and promote the company's "5S" management improvement activities.


From May 24 to 26, 2022, VMTA business management visited SHIPE factory for the second round of counseling.  In addition to participating in the "5S" launching conference, Mr.He also made on-site inspection, correction and raised new requirements after the first round of operation. This time, the "1S" rectification has entered to the "2S" rectification stage, and the area of workshop, production line team and warehouse have been extended to the whole SHIPE factory and office. Besides the fixed positioning and quantitative basic work, Mr.He also put forward higher requirements for all staff: Each department and team should carry out pre-shift meeting and conduct "three sweeps a day" daily activity, also demand team to set up SHIPE equipment day and strictly implement it.


The coaching session is over, but the enthusiasm of SHIPE partners is just beginning to be aroused.  Every department and team daily pre-shift video check-in, "three sweep a day" activity is also carried out in full swing.


In addition to the requirements of daily work improvement, our General Manager Mr.Chen also put forward new requirements for the improvement of factory appearance and environment, hoping to provide better hardware equipment, working and living environment for all SHIPE family members.


"Nanjing Conference Hall" and "reading room" have been renovated to a new look;  The newly opened "Wuhu Conference Hall" also provides us more places to focus on discussion;  Induction lights have been installed in the workshop, R&D building and other corridors;  The staff dormitory is newly decorated and fully equipped, and so on. The changes seen everywhere in the past month have doubled the happiness of our family members!


We need to do a lot of improvements, adhere to every day bit by bit, with action to create a better association home!  Continue to help contribute to the new association of our SHIPE factory image!
